GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) is a minimally invasive protocol for the prevention and treatment

of periodontal and peri-implant diseases.

It is based on the identification of biofilm using

a plaque disclosing agent, followed by its removal through air polishing with glycine powder (subgingival) and sodium bicarbonate powder (supragingival).

Any residual calculus is removed using an ultrasonic scaler, and finally, fluoride is applied to help prevent cavities and reduce tooth sensitivity.

This protocol promotes greater comfort, enhanced effectiveness, and improved preservation of oral tissues.
